Firefly Swing

Firefly Swing is an endless arcade game set in a quiet forest at night. You play a small firefly that travels on a silk thread. Glowing bellflowers hang from vines above you, and dark thorny brambles wait below. Your goal is simple: swing from flower to flower and fly as far as you can. One button, two moves The whole game uses one button.

Hold it, and the firefly shoots a thread to the nearest glowing flower in reach. While you hang, the thread slowly gets shorter, so the swing gets faster. Release the button, and the firefly flies forward with all the speed of the swing. A dashed ring shows which flower you will catch next, so you always know where your thread will go.

Do not hang too long Every flower can hold you for about three seconds. While you hang, its light changes from warm yellow to red. When the light is gone, the flower breaks and you fall. Good players let go early, at the top of the swing, and catch the next flower on the way down. Score and difficulty You get one point for every metre you fly forward.

Blue light motes float between the flowers, and each one you collect gives five extra points. The forest gets harder the farther you go. After about 70 metres, spiky thorn seeds start to float in the low part of the swing. Later, some flowers move slowly up and down or from side to side, some thorn seeds move too, and the gaps between flowers grow wider.

Touching a thorn seed or falling into the brambles ends the run.
